Banana QR Code - Smart or Stupid?

As you can see, the fine folks at Dole have decided that the banana is the next frontier for mobile marketing.My first reaction is that this is dumb, but I suppose if someone has the time to sit down and eat a banana, they have the time to scan a code.  More importantly, I was curious enough that I actually did scan the banana code, although I was disappointed when I did.  It basically just took me to the Dole Facebook page, which I don't really have much interest in liking.I think the only way I was going to end up happy is if scanning the code somehow led me to banana phone, but alas it did not.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ4j-MBnLQoHave you seen any good uses of food marketing QR code or otherwise?  Anything that's actually made you buy something else?  Because while this had me curious,  I'm no more loyal to Dole than I was before.  I'm still just going to buy whatever bananas are available and cheapest at the grocery store.
