This Dieting Thing is Way Too Easy

In preparation for our trip to the Jersey Shore, Cait and I are in the midst of a two-week long diet/workout binge.  It's offically being referred to as The GTL Cleanse.Basically we've cut out drinking (except one cheat day each because we're alkies), and regimented our diets to account for six small meals per day of healthy food in small portions. Lots of protein, low sodium, low fat, no processed foods, daily heavy working out, that kind of a thing.  Here's a perfect example of a "lunch" we're treated to during this process:Sure, eating a combination of cat and rabbit food sort of blows, but when necessary, I'm a food minimalist. I survived college on microwaved hot dogs and cheap pasta, and when left to my own devices even now I resort to that anyway.I feel like I constantly hear people whining about how hard their diets and their cleanses are, and i believed them until I tried to do it myself.  Bottom line is that while portion control can be a bitch, this diet has been incredibly easy. I started at 172.2 lbs and as of last night i was down to 162.8 lbs. Like taking candy from a baby.Am i abnormal, or are the majority of people just huge babies when it comes to this diet business? Because I've found this whole thing to be incredibly easy.
